Stigma Skills are “special skills” that generally have bigger cooldowns. These skills have 5 available Perks unlocked by skill levels and you can equip up to 6 (there’s a chance this could be lower for global though).
With Stigma Skills, you get the benefit of all Perks as long as you unlock them with levels. Stigma Skills use Stigma Shards to level and can be leveled up to 20 for the final Perk. After the Chapter 1, level 50 update, you can level Stigma Skills to 25 with the last 5 levels coming from golden Superior Stigma Shards.
Stigma Shards are obtained by combining “Unstable Stigma Shards” that you’ll get from a variety of PVE content or directly from Abyss Points, a currency in Aion 2. Abyss Points are mainly obtained from Supply Request, Daily Duties, Weekly Commands (Contract-like quests), and farming players or mobs in the Abyss.
Superior Stigma Shards are obtained when leveling from 45 to 50, and additional Superior Stigma Shards can be obtained from getting other Stigma skills to lvl 20. You get 1 Superior Stigma Shard for every lvl 20 Stigma skill. When everything is maxed, you can have 3 skills at lvl 25, 1 skill at lvl 23, and the rest at lvl 20.
Key Stigma Skills offer a lot of power when leveled. Generally these Stigma Skills offer major buffs and increase key Passive Skills amplifying both Damage and Support. Supports especially can be gatekept by lacking specific Stigma Skill levels (IE: Undefeated Mantra, Light of Protection) as they significantly boost group performance.
