Accuracy Block and Critical Hit
Accuracy, Block, Critical Hit and resistance, including the cap and graph discrepancy.
Source recommendations, first-person statements, and testing claims are Kanon’s. Figures are captured examples rather than universal costs or ideal builds.

Efficiency values assume an ideal KR end-game build at the start of Season 1, level 50 and Lava Heart armor, including support buffs. Global launch, future KR, class buffs and diminishing returns can change these values.

Accuracy & Block/Parry
Accuracy ensures your attack lands as a clean hit negating a Block/Parry 1:1. If your Accuracy covers the exact amount of Block a target has, you will land 100% of your attacks.
There are diminishing returns to this stat
The average value of 100 Accuracy is roughly ≈ 6% ~ 7%
If my Target has 2,000 Block and my Accuracy is 1,000 then he has a 60% ~ 70% chance to Parry
Parry is capped at an 80% chance and a difference of 1,200 is required to reach it
This allows us to calculate the 6% ~ 7% per 100 (6.66…%*1,200 = 80%)
The graph below represents how the diminishing returns work for both Crit/Crit Resistance and Accuracy/Block
Critical hit diminishing returns curve
- Horizontal axis (white): Critical Hit Stat – Target's Critical Hit Resistance(Difference); ticks0,200,400,600,800,1000,1200,1400
- Prose also applies curve to Accuracy/Block.
- Vertical axis (white): Actual Critical Hit Chance(%); ticks0,20,40,60,80
- Percentage probability.
- Curve (blue): Rising concave curve approaching80% from below
- Diminishing returns, not constant6–7% per100.
- Upper bound (white dashed horizontal): Maximum Upper Limit(80%)
- Asymptotic-looking cap.
- Reference point (green dashed vertical and green dot): X=1,200 (~79%)
- Explicit graph number conflicts with prose saying1200 reaches80%.
Critical Hit & Critical Hit Resist
Critical Hit & Critical Resist use the same formula as Accuracy & Block/Parry which includes the 80% cap.
Refer to the graph and Accuracy explanation above
Skill passives are Additive so if your Critical Hit is 70% and you take a Skill passive that increases your Critical Hit by 30%, your Critical Hit % will be 80%. If you are hitting 80% Crit on a Skill you do not need to take a Crit increasing Specialty Perk
