Damage Tolerance Endurance and Combat Speed

Damage Tolerance, Endurance probability, and source Combat Speed testing claims.

Source context and uncertainty

Source recommendations, first-person statements, and testing claims are Kanon’s. Figures are captured examples rather than universal costs or ideal builds.

Captured source update: 9/20/2026. Regional and unconfirmed details remain qualified as written.

Efficiency values assume an ideal KR end-game build at the start of Season 1, level 50 and Lava Heart armor, including support buffs. Global launch, future KR, class buffs and diminishing returns can change these values.

This guide preserves Kanon’s source statements and labels the source’s limits. Original source document · About the source and author

Damage Tolerance & Endurance

Damage Tolerance and Endurance are both highly effective Defensive stats. Damage Tolerance directly reduces Damage Boost against you while Endurance reduces your final damage taken by half.

Damage Tolerance

  • All Damage Tolerance is a direct counter to its respective Damage Boost

  • In PVE Damage Tolerance, Boss Damage Tolerance, and PVE Damage Tolerance are the only ones of value considering Bosses do have Damage Boost (impossible to measure exactly how much due to damage being random)

  • Bosses do not have Front/Back Damage Boost, Weapon Damage Boost, Critical Hit, or Multi-hit meaning the respective Tolerance and Resistance against those stats are worthless

Endurance

  • Endurance is only negated by Endurance Penetration. There is no Endurance Penetration from Bosses so whatever the % you see in your stat sheet will be the % chance you have to take 50% damage.

Additional Notes:  Combat Speed is a given S-tier individual stat that you stack as much as you can. This, however, is directly impacted by ping and FPS. When tested, a difference of 150-200 ping equated to roughly ≈  50% ~ 70% damage. Contrary to popular belief, there were no major differences between classes. Templar, Brawler, and Assassin were the three classes tested and were roughly similar. Spiritmaster may be an outlier due to the passive pet damage
